Nukes Energy is committed to producing accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) in conjunction with the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES). This means that properties, whether sold or rented, must have a valid EPC rating between grades A – E. Grade A is the highest achievable and grade E is the minimum requirement.

Q1) Are you Public liability insured?
Yes the broker for Public liability insurance is Towergate Insurance Brokers.
Q2) Are your assessor’s Trustworthy?

Although you can never guarantee 100% trustworthiness every assessor is vetted and has undergone a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) similar checks to anyone who is employed in Local Educational Authorities (LEA’s) and deals with Children, vulnerable adults and sensitive information.

Q3) How can I check if your assessor’s are accredited?

With Elmhurst Energy accredited assessors, you can verify members by going onto Elmhurstenergy.co.uk tap on Find an assessor if using a mobile phone device or Information tab if using a tablet or desktop.

Ask the assessor for their Member ID. If you are sceptical, it normally begins with EES/ followed by numbers.

Scroll down to verify a member, and input the member’s ID.

Click verify, and the assessor details shall appear.

You can also confirm the status of all accredited energy assessors on the official Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government website (click this link to open a new window).

Q4) How long does it take to complete a EPC assessment?

Allow upto 1 hour availability per property, varies according to size and property type.
